Engagement – what it means and why it is so important

No matter how good your content is, if it is not converting into numbers, or in this case, audience engagement, it doesn’t serve the purpose.

  • Engagement rate determines the rate at which your content is reaching out to your audience, and how well they are reacting to it.
  • At the same time, if you commercialize it too much, it might lose its natural touch, which will defeat the entire purpose of the post and affect your engagement.
  • The post should be a mix of you using the product, integrating it with your natural lifestyle, while at the same time urging your audience to try it!

Tips to build engagement –

Up your #Hashtag game!

Hashtags play the role of SEO on social media platforms.

The key is not to use more hashtags; it is to use relevant ones. The more relevant the hashtag, the more you will show up on your target audience’s feeds or even new searches.

This will increase your chances of getting new followers and retaining existing ones.
