An employee who contributes to EPF can check his UAN status online on the official website of EPF for UAN by using his PF Number or Member Id or PAN or Aadhaar number. This article explains the steps to Know your UAN.
If you don’t know either your member id or UAN then one can know the UAN either through your employer or by follow this article. But it is mandatory that your UAN must be KYC details embedded.
The UAN or the Universal Account Number is one of the most crucial aspects of the EPF or the Employment Provident Fund, the services of which can now be availed online. With UAN, one can use services like accessing the PF account and use services like withdrawal, checking balance and the like, without the help of the employer.

Step 2: Click on the tab ‘Know your UAN Status’. The following page will appear.
Step 3: Fill your PAN / Aadhaar, also fill other details such as name, date of birth, mobile no, captcha code then click on ‘Get Authorization Pin’.

Step 4: You will receive a PIN at your mobile number. Enter the PIN number and click on “Validate OTP and get UAN” button.
Step 5: Your UAN number will be sent to your mobile number
