How to Transfer PF Funds Easily to another PF Account Online

Employee Provident fund (EPF) is an ideal investment option for any salaried individual, owing to its E-E-E (exempt-exempt-exempt) nature. This means investment in EPF, interest from EPF and withdrawal from EPF after 5 years is exempt.

When you are switching your job or are moving to a different city, you do not necessarily have to close your existing PF account with your current employer. You can simply transfer it by moving the funds from the old account to the new one.

  2. Hi ,

I have requested online transfer claim online last month (July , 10th) .. now its Aug 29. I’ve learned that i should have downloaded the form13 and submit the signed copy to my employer within 10 days. But i missed that part.
Now its been over a month. Can i submit now? Or is it possible to place a new transfer request?
    Please letme know.

    1. Hi Lakshmi,

Check your transfer claim status if your claim is still pending for approval with your employer then download form 13 and submit the self signed copy to your employer. In case claim is rejected then again applied online transfer and submit self signed copy of form 13 to your employer.

      Regards…

  3. Hi,

I have given request to transfer the funds from one PF account to another PF account. What will be the result once the process is successful?. Will the old Passbook appears on new PF account?

    Regards
    aneesh

    1. Hi Aneesh..

Once the PF transfer request is completed, the passbook of your current PF account reflects a lump sum addition in the month of transfer, but the EPS column shows zero addition. While service details are transferred from an older to a new account, the EPS amount is retained in the older account.

      Regards….
